Ronaldo scored three times, including a stunning late free-kick to rescue a 3-3 draw. It was hat-trick number 51, and it came on the biggest stage.
The Atlético Annihilation (Champions League 2019)
With Juventus trailing 2-0 from the first leg against Atlético Madrid, Ronaldo took matters into his own hands. Three headers—yes, all three goals were headers—and Juventus had completed an improbable comeback. The image of Ronaldo celebrating with the “cojones” gesture became iconic.
The Sweden Statement (Nations League 2020)

66 hat-tricks. It’s a number that may never be equaled, let alone surpassed. In an era of rotation, squad depth, and managed playing time, the idea of another player accumulating this many three-goal performances seems almost impossible. But then again, Ronaldo has made a career of achieving the impossible.
